Dilara Gurbanova
Dilara Gurbanova is a business lawyer with more than 12 years of professional experience. She is a member of the Azerbaijani Bar Association.
Dilara’s principal areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, contracts, compliance, legal risk management and business disputes.
As Managing Partner of Gurbanovas & Partners, she sets the firm’s strategic direction and professional service standards and oversees the quality of complex client matters and coordination among the partners.
Professional experience
Dilara spent the greater part of her career at one of Azerbaijan’s leading law firms. As a partner and manager, she led a legal team and ensured the delivery of advice to local and international companies on corporate and commercial matters, contracts and legal risk, as well as representation in dispute resolution.
She also served for a period as Head of Legal Compliance within the legal department of a public authority, where she worked to align the authority’s activities with applicable legislation, international obligations and internal standards and gained first-hand insight into the operation of public institutions.
